TEACHER Exam (UGC | CTET | TET)

In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had received notification dated 23 August 2010 and 29 July 2011 which laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII. The qualified candidates become eligible to apply for teacher recruitment as, and when it happens, for Class I to VIII in schools that come under the purview of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi. The examination is tough, with qualification rates of 1% to 14% in the exams held so far.
